Tucked beside a little barbershop this gem is easy to miss while driving fast down Federal Hwy. But turn around, you won't be sorry.
My party of four was greeted and served by the most friendly, attentive staff. The ambiance was quaint and traditional with dim lighting and white table cloths. Not fancy just very nice. Complimentary homemade bread with a roasted pepper/eggplant caponata along with bruschetta was a delicious start. Our dishes were crafted by Chef-owner Manuela Maffezzoli with love and a passion for flavorful, fresh ingredients. My favorite was the Strozzapreti alla Norcina. Little pasta twists adorned with a hearty, creamy tomato sauce, crumbled Italian sausage and black truffle. Absolutely amazing! Friends described the Linguine alle Vongole Marechiaro as the best linguini with clams they've ever had.
It was a pleasure meeting Manuela and her husband Lino and learning about their background and vision for the restaurant. Thank you for moving from Hollywood to Pompano! See you again soon!
*We brought our own wine and the corking fee was $20. -

Came to eat here last night, and this is by far the top restaurant for Italian food! I had the eggplant rolatina and octopus carpaccio for appetizer, Tagliatelle with sea food and My husband had the Mediterranean branzino and everything was phenomena!!!
Everything is made from scratch, the chef is straight from Italy.
This is our new spot, we will be here every week! Thank you -

I took my girlfriend on a Saturday night, it was off season so I didn't think we should have to wait and we also called ahead.
Atmosphere- The Restaurant was very nice, immaculately clean with white tablecloths on all of the tables. The clientele was all elderly people, I'm pretty sure we were the youngest by 30 years but sometimes that's to be expected in Florida. We also found it odd that the was a tray of desserts on one of the tables in the front when we first walked in, more about that...
Food- The fresh baked bread was out of this world, they brought it over with a caponata which was equally as impressive. We each had a bowl of soup, my girlfriend had the pasta e fagioli and I had the minestrone. Both were superb. The owner came over and made a joke about them being Progresso so I really did a taste test, he was joking as I could tell the vegetables were fresh. I had the risotto and my girlfriend the clams and linguini dish. There were large portions and it tasted phenomenal. All was cooked properly. We were too full for dessert and each took a box home.
Service-A fellow who I believe was the owner served us. He was very nice. Everything came out timely and hot from the kitchen. The only thing that I didn't care for was his trying to push dessert on us after we said we were full. He came over with said dessert platter which I mentioned earlier. I understand all is made in house but I never like the used car salesman gig...
Overall we will be back and the restaurant is one of the best! -

We're addicted to this restaurant! Can't get enough of the choice of healthy salads with tasty dressings. Then, the main courses are so good, we come back often to try each one. Desserts are too die for. Every item is made from scratch including the bread and made with love. The service reminds us of being in Italy. Bring old and young to this amazing restaurant.

Cute little place!
Bruschetta was good!
Brussels Sprouts were DIVINE! Very very yummy!
Pasta e fagioli was amazing. I would go there just for this soup. Finally, one that has flavor!!!!
My aunt got the Strozzapreti alla Norcina. This is the one I wanted so badly, but I can't have all that cream. I tried hers though and OH MY. SO GOOD!!! So much flavor
My sister got the Pollo alla Fiorentina with pasta instead of veggies.
She said it was really good but too heavy for her.
She switched dishes with my aunt! My aunt loved this dish!
My mom and I got the Fettuccine Bolognese special. It was good! but the Strozzapreti alla Norcina was just so so yummy... it won. So delicious!
